As we head into the US presidential election, we are also supposed to be entering the flu season – the only problem? There seems to be little to no influenza deaths. Along with that, the amount of people tested is in the millions, while total COVID deaths are still encompassing three columns: COVID Deaths, COVID & Influenza Deaths, and COVID & Influenza & Pneumonia Deaths. The fact that we are still not at a determination as to which deaths are properly counted while enacting government policy around such statistics is worrisome. It seems the media has taken to new heights in politicizing the pandemic.
But now with more data presenting itself, the numbers do not lie – COVID-19 is not as deadly as previous statistical models had predicted. Some find this claim dangerous. Most of all, those that are injecting moralistic and propagandistic threads into the argument are already convinced and won’t change their perspective when new evidence surfaces. The lack of an essential understanding of the scientific method has permeated almost every facet of the political spectrum now, no longer just a by-gone relic of the religious right.
The left has a burgeoning new religion on it’s hands – the religion of Social Justice – which leave little in the way of scientific understanding, instead opting for the more politically expedient stance.

This first graph is for pure ascetics – as in, it’s supposed to show you, at a glance, with little to no understanding of the data, how minuet this has become. All of the data on this page is accurate up to 10/1/2020.
Total COVID Tests vs Total CasesTotal Pneumonia DeathsTotal Influenza Deaths
The second graphic is comparing the total amount of those tested vs the total amount of active cases along with each of the categorized deaths. The disparity is that of the CDC and their lack of clarity with the data. Some cases are actually spread across three categories, some of which include the seasonal flu. In fact, the total flu deaths for this year are miniscule compared to other years.

Cases vs Deaths
The last two graphs are meant to portray the large disparity between confirmed cases (plus probable) and confirmed deaths (also plus probable). And as you can see, it’s beyond debate – the evidence is clear:
The pandemic seems to have been largely political in nature. A novel virus is not something we haven’t encountered before, and will inevitably encounter again. But the true test will be after the election. Then we can come to a conclusion as to what is really going on.
