Hungarian police released images of the moment the couple dubbed the “millennial Bonnie and Clyde” were nabbed for murder after three months on the run overseas.
Yun “Lucy” Lu Li, 25, and her boyfriend Oliver Karafa, 28, were arrested in Budapest last Saturday after a February shooting in Ontario, Canada, that left a man dead and a woman seriously injured, according to the CBC.
The Canadian influencer and her Slovakian boyfriend allegedly killed business associate Tyler Pratt, 38, and tried to murder his 26-year-old girlfriend, who was pregnant and lost the baby in the Hamilton attack, the report said.
New arrest photos show Li being handcuffed by two female officers. Li, the daughter of prominent Toronto businesswoman Hong Wei “Winnie” Liao, apparently made no attempts to alter her appearance while on the lam, the pictures show.
Two male cops took Karafa into custody as the suspect kept his face down, away from the snapping photog.
The two have both been charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.
A motive in the attack is still unclear.
Li, a triplet who is known for posing in racy shots with her sisters on Instagram and TikTok, waived her right to fight extradition, and will soon be sent back to Canada to face the charges, according to The Toronto Sun.
Karafa plans to fight extradition, according to the newspaper, which predicts the politically connected suspect “will almost certainly flip on her paramour at the earliest opportunity.”
The alleged killers hid out in the Czech Republic and Slovakia before making their way to a chic neighborhood in the Hungarian capital.
