The website for the drawing tablet brand Kenting has remained offline for over 3 weeks now. The issue with this is that their tablets are still being used and sold at healthy numbers, albeit a bit more pricy, and now there’s no way for Kenting’s customers to obtain the drivers and software for the device. The software is crucial in getting the correct screen used as the active area being used. By default, if you have multiple monitors (which you will since the tablet is a second monitor), the device is active across every screen you’re using, making the device useless. It also controls the pressure settings, button settings, and other program specific features.
Well, after a few hours of looking, I found the driver software for the K16 model (thank you random reddit user). After installing it and testing it, I can confirm it’s not a virus and in fact the genuine article. Posted below is a link to download the zip file of the installer. I unfortunately could not find the driver for the other model Kenting offers. But maybe this one will work with it a well.
I hope Kenting get’s there website back online, since their tablets are not a bad choice for those with a slightly tighter wallet.
