According to a new report published by the CDC, you are more likely to get COVID if you have worn a mask. On page 4 of the report (posted below), if you wear a mask always: 70.6% of getting COVID, where as if you never wear a mask: 3.9% of getting COVID. These numbers seem to match the other metrics such as death rate and the recommendations by health professionals that wearing a mask is counter productive unless you are actively sick.
